Remember Your Whyđź©·

Have you ever had one of those days where you wonder if it’s all worth it? The scales haven’t moved, Life feels busy, The takeaway menu looks tempting. You tell yourself, “I’ll start again on Monday.”

We’ve all been there. But on days like these, I want you to remember one thing…

Why did you start?

Your “why” is far more powerful than the number on the scales. Maybe you wanted to:

• Feel happier in your own skin.

• Have more energy to play with your children or grandchildren.

• Improve your health.

• Reduce medication.

• Feel confident on holiday.

• Walk upstairs without getting out of breath.

• Wear clothes that make you smile.

• Feel proud when you look in the mirror.

Whatever your reason is, it matters. Because your “why” is what keeps you moving forward when motivation fades.

Motivation comes and goes… Many people think successful people stay motivated all the time. They don’t.

The difference is that they keep going even when they don’t feel like it. They remember the life they’re working towards. They understand that one difficult day doesn’t undo weeks of progress.

Your future self is waiting. Imagine yourself six months from now. You stayed consistent, You kept coming to your meetings, You made better choices more often, You didn’t give up after one bad day.

How would that version of you feel? Proud, Healthier, More confident and Stronger.

Now imagine if you gave up today. Where would you be in six months? Sometimes the hardest decision in the moment creates the biggest reward in the future.

Keep your “why” where you can see it. Write it down, Stick it on your fridge, Save it as your phone wallpaper or Pop it in your purse or wallet and read it every morning.

When temptation appears, don’t ask yourself:

“Do I feel like making the healthy choice?”

Ask yourself: “Will this choice take me closer to the life I want?”

This week’s challenge

Take five minutes today and write down your biggest reason for wanting to lose weight. Not just “to lose weight.” Go deeper.

How do you want to feel? What do you want to be able to do? Who are you doing this for?

Then read it every day this week.

Because when you remember your why, you’ll always find the strength to keep going.

At Choose To Lose, we’re here to remind you that this journey isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about believing that you are worth the effort. And you are, Always!

Keep choosing you... Let’s Choose To Lose.

Love Mel x
